Shannon Carey

Shannon M. Carey is the founder and President of Four Leaf Clover Consulting. Since 1995 Shannon has been in non-profit development and public relations work in the areas of girls issues, affordable housing and community development.  Carey created Four Leaf Clover to assist smaller fledgling non-profits and star-ups with the building blocks to move their agenda.

Four Leaf Clover Consulting specializes in fundraising planning, training & execution, board development, public relations, grant writing, editing and event management. Over the course of her career Shannon has been involved in numerous fundraising campaigns and has written successful grants raising some $50 million dollars.

Shannon was voted 2010/2011 Woman of the Year - National Association of Professional Women. Featured on cover and article of Atlanta Magazine in 2007. Recognized in 2002 as Top 100 women in non-profit. Member, National Association of Professional Women. Completed 12-week Dale Carnegie Training, Received recognition from City of Atlanta for work with Youth Summit.  She is also working towards her fellowship with American Express Center for Leadership to be completed in 2012.

Carey holds a BA from Indiana University, is a member of National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
