Kelly Hill, Ph.D

Dr. Hill is the principal of Nexus Research Group, a full-service consulting firm providing research services and training to non-profit groups, private foundations and public agencies.  In this capacity, she manages a half dozen consultants in carrying out the work of the firm’s broad clientele.  

NRG’s clients range in size from national organizations such as the United States Department of Justice, Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies Health Policy Institute via Liquid Studios to community-based organizations such as the Center for Working Families in Atlanta and Neighborhood Partnership Network in New Orleans.

Prior to launching Nexus Research Group, Kelly served as Senior Researcher for Emory University’s Office of University-Community Partnerships where she contributed to research on a range of metropolitan issues.

In her civic life, Kelly has served on numerous boards including the Historic District Development Corporation, Community Housing Resource Center, Metropolitan Atlanta Community Development Collaborative and the Atlanta Beltline Tax Allocation District Advisory Committee.

Kelly Hill holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Clark Atlanta University and a Ph.D. from Emory University, both in political science.
