Carolyn Henry Rader

Carolyn Henry Rader received her Master of City Planning degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia.  She is the community development coordinator for the Atlanta Area Agency on Aging with the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Carolyn’s planning career has included consulting work as a public involvement coordinator and project manager for Lawrence Frank and Company, the Georgia Conservancy’s Blueprints for Successful Communities, Planners for Environmental Quality (PEQ) and Sycamore Consulting. 

In 1994 and 1995, she was the coordinator of the Urban Resources Partnership, a federally funded pilot environmental grant program for the Atlanta region.  She served as environmental planner for the City of Atlanta from 1991 to 1994 and was the interim Executive Director of Park Pride Atlanta from 1990 to 1991.  She is a member of the Georgia Planning Association and the American Planning Association.
