Judith A. Burrell

Judith established BURRELL PROJECT CONSULT LLC in 2005. Since that time, she has contributed to several management teams at Fortune 500 companies, in Washington based trade associations and for federal and local governments.

For ACS, she led the transportation group’s sales team and closed deals related to electronic toll collection, transit smart card operations and DMV processing.

She led communications strategy for the Newspaper Association of America and local government lobbying for the United State Conference of Mayors. She also held several leadership roles in the administrations of President Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter as well as former NYC Mayor Ed Koch.

She has secured Congressional legislative victories for local governments in transportation funding and clean air regulations. At the Newspaper Association of America and the U.S. Conference of Mayors, she supervised several staff and many initiatives. To name a few, she was publisher of Presstime for NAA and a contributing editor to USCM’s USMayor. She supervised multi-media communications for NAA such as the organization’s Web site, its top membership resource library service and special projects such as the Bush II White House initiated Russian American Media Entrepreneurship Dialogue. She also established the first institutional advancement program for one of the City University of New York’s 19 campuses—Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.

She has degrees from Brown University and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
