Giovanni Taylor

Giovanni is a versatile community development professional who taps into common and uncommon resources to find solutions to problems.

While working for the property management arm of the development firm the Novare Group he resolved over 88% of customer and tenant issues in a 280,000 s.f. Class A office building in downtown Atlanta.  Giovanni also Led two projects designed to reduce energy consumption for a Class A office building by 3% in 2006.  He represented one of the top 10 nonprofit brands in the country in several meetings with federal agencies and other national nonprofits.

Through his work with Habitat for Humanities he advised Habitat groups on disaster preparedness plans, policies, systems, and procedures and make recommendations for improvements, initiated and developed relationships with other voluntary organizations and the faith-based community involved in preparedness activities at the national level, monitored and evaluated disaster response projects to verify that goals and guidelines were met and Created a database of skilled volunteers and facilitate deployments to local affiliates based on need and availability. 

Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Policy Studies (Urban Planning & Economic Development) from Georgia State University.
