Patricia (Pat) Turner

Pat brings several decades of executive experience to her current consulting practice. Combining her passion for leadership, strategic action, and change, she serves as a coach and navigator to those seeking greater clarity, alignment, and continuity in their organization, community, or professional life. Pat is a trained national healing practitioner and has worked with community, business, and faith based institutions to find pathways to positive transformation.

As a social entrepreneur, Pat has served as founding director of several local and national nonprofits focused on children, families, and voluntarism.  She has been an organizational development consultant and executive coach to those interested in creative approaches to progress, positive outcomes, and change.

Her expertise in board and program development, evaluation and resource management, has been particularly helpful to new institutions and those in the midst of change. Colleagues and clients have appreciated Pat’s unique contribution to organizational challenges and opportunities.  Because she has been both a board and staff member of organizations in several fields, she understands both perspectives.

Pat’s contributions to the field of leadership development are wide and varied. She recently served as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Community Leadership Network's Lead Navigator, stewarding program alignment, content weaving, and participant engagement.  Pat has been a Master Educator, Principal Writer, and Consultant with the Trustee Leadership Development Organization. She served as coach and trainer for the Pew Charitable Trust’s Civic Entrepreneurship Program and for several years, served as the lead consultant to the Hull Leadership Program sponsored by the Southeastern Council of Foundations.  Her work with the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation and MDC focused on grassroots leadership in southern communities.

Pat has served as a speaker and panelist at global, national and local forums. She has co-authored articles and appeared as a guest on national and local television. She completed her undergraduate degree from Adelphi University in New York and Masters Degree from the University of Chicago.
