WARREN BELL & ASSOCIATES is a higher education consulting and communications management firm offering a variety of media-related services including advertising placement, broadcast-quality video production, community engagement and/or intergovernmental relations, media relations training, also public information planning. Equally compelling is CEO and founder Warren Bell’s higher education expertise coming from three decades of firsthand experience working in faculty and/or key leadership roles at all three New Orleans HBCU campuses.

We use only the finest broadcast quality (HD) digital cameras with immediate access to high-end video drones (fully insured and registered) as well as access to full-size studios for larger scale productions.

CEO Profile

Company CEO Warren Bell’s mass media credentials are extensive and varied covering four decades of experience in radio, television and print. He also boasts more than thirty years of higher education experience both as a faculty member and administrator at Dillard University from 1983-2001, then as the Associate Vice President for University & Media Relations at Xavier University of Louisiana 2003-2011, and most recently as Director of the Honore Center for Undergraduate Student Achievement (2011-2017) a black male teacher development pilot the Southern University System that he was hired to implement from concept to reality. 

His TV and radio documentaries and special reports over a thirty year broadcasting career have earned numerous awards, while his insights into New Orleans culture and its politics have been featured in multiple local and national PBS documentaries. Bell’s live coverage of Mardi Gras parades for The Travel Channel 1993-1997 was viewed worldwide. Beside his more visible work as a TV news anchor & reporter for more than 20 years Bell has been a radio news director, an advertising account executive, and TV Public Affairs director. 

Bell was a Regional Director of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) serving on its 1983-84 and 1997-1999 Boards of Directors.  He was the founding president of the New Orleans Association of Black Journalists local chapter, also past president of the Press Club of New Orleans. Ongoing and past involvements include the African American Male Wellness Walk/NOLa Steering Committee, the Medical Center of Louisiana/Spirit of Charity Foundation, New Orleans Multicultural Tourism Network as well as the New Orleans Media Center overseeing local cable access TV programming.
