Keith L. Dixon, Esq is a licensed patent attorney with experience dating back to the late 1980s. His time and expertise includes working with the Federal Government and private sector with a considerable background in intellectual property, technology licensing, Federal Government procurement, managing outside counsel, training and client counseling.
Keith has worked as a patent practitioner for NASA, LexisNexis and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Two highlights of Keith’s career include the successful negotiation and drafting of the first Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) for NASA and becoming the first in-house patent counsel for LexisNexis. He has presented to a variety of groups on various intellectual property topics.
He is passionate about giving back and improving the community. In 2009 he volunteered his technical and legal talents to help create a community based organization called the Urban Uplift and Outreach Center located in Dayton, Ohio.
Keith earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University in 1987 and a Juris Doctor from the George Mason School of Law in 1994.
Keith is a member of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar and the Patent Bar.
