Linda Pompa

Linda Pompa is a consultant focusing on small business, social enterprise and non-profit organizations, with an emphasis on strategic planning and implementation, fundraising and sustainability.  Linda also provide technical assistance support for various forms of development including capacity, community, economic, fund, small business, and workforce.

Prior to her consulting work, Ms. Pompa was the Director of Workforce and Economic Development for Urban Strategies, Inc., a national non-profit that in conjunction with housing redevelopment, assists low-income families in achieving economic self-sufficiency.  In New Orleans and other cities that Urban Strategies works in, Ms. Pompa focused on community economic development issues, including small business development and improving access and pathways to good job opportunities for residents. 

Previously, Ms. Pompa was a Rockefeller Foundation Urban Redevelopment Fellow working as the Project Manager responsible for human capital planning in conjunction with the physical redevelopment of the C. J. Peete/Harmony Oaks public housing community in New Orleans.  Her responsibilities with Urban Strategies included developing partnerships with local service providers, community residents, institutions, funders and other stakeholders in order to create a sustainable supportive network of programming and partnerships.
