E. Aminata Brown

E. Aminata Brown began her career in Change Management in the mid-1990s. Since her early days in Accenture’s burgeoning ERP practice, she has gone on to partner with a diverse array of clients including the FBI, Aon, The Gap, Old Navy, Tesco, Nestle, The University of California – Office of the President, and multiple divisions within Deloitte & Touche.


Aminata’s deep expertise in human performance improvement provides high-level instructional design skills meaningfully placed within the context of organizational design and development. She specializes in project/program management, training design and development (business simulation, instructor-led, e-learning), needs assessment (audience, stakeholder and functionality),  stakeholder management, risk and issue management, ERP change strategy implementation, and business process re-design.      

Aminata has worked for both public service and private sector organizations.  In addition to her client work, Aminata is the founder of the non-profit organization, SISTAWorks, Inc., which provides educational support to girls from West Africa’s most rural village areas. Aminata also spearheaded a unique social enterprise in Ghana to provide entrepreneurial development opportunities for economically marginalized women. She has provided executive coaching to other corporate leaders and entrepreneurs seeking pathways to apply their business skills to extend the reach of their contributions.  

Aminata has also managed the design and development for several Deloitte & Touche training programs. Her track record with multiple stakeholders at the firm has resulted in ongoing engagements including the updated 2-week New Hire curriculum for the firm’s Advisory practice, a new Health & Human Services Integrated Eligibility technical skills course for Consulting Industry Experienced Hires, a new Federal Audit Readiness course for AERS Advisory internal auditors, an online and business simulation course for advanced Federal Controls & Compliance practitioners, an updated leadership and professional skills business simulation for AERS New Seniors, as well as the Opening and Closing Plenaries for the annual Global Employer Services PPDM meeting. Each program required a needs assessment, conceptual design, detailed design, course materials development, as well as overall project planning. Aminata’s leadership on these projects has consistently resulted in ‘on-time’ and ‘on-budget’ project results with exceptionally positive client reviews.     


Aminata’s approach focuses on enabling sustainable outcomes through authentic partnership. She enjoys helping her clients clarify the shared purpose of their initiative and an effective strategic plan that creates a powerful sense of collective ownership. Her global entrepreneurial experience combined with her enterprise-wide corporate background has resulted in a keen understanding of all levels of the business environment.
