Pamela E. Goldstein

Pamela E. Goldstein, a founding partner and principal with Diversity Marketing and Communications, is a recognized public relations specialist with more than 30 years of professional experience in publicity and media placement, special events, fundraising, journalism, public affairs, community relations, crisis management and communications. 

Her instantaneous grasp of situations, ability to strategize and focus while implementing multiple campaigns and projects make her an ideal project manager.

During her association with Diversity, she has managed community outreach efforts and provided media counseling and placement for The Newark Public Library, Vesta/Seabrook affordable housing in Gloucester County (NJ), and numerous programs and entities at Rutgers University, including the Office of the Chancellor, the Business School and Police Institute at Rutgers-Newark, The Center for Ethnicity, Culture and the Modern Experience, the Heldrich Workforce Development Center, the School of Social Work’s Institute for Families and Children in New Brunswick, and the School of Graduate Education’s Office of Continuing Education and Global Programs.

Pam is a veteran employee of the City of Newark (NJ) where she served for almost two decades as chief spokesperson for the administration, communications manager and as press secretary to the former mayor.  In establishing and directing the communications policy for the largest municipal government in New Jersey, she managed all media, public relations, public affairs, special events and marketing activities.  Previous to her tenure in New Jersey’s largest city, she served as director of public relations and placement for Bryant and Stratton Junior College in Boston.

Her wide-ranging career also includes posts as general assignment reporter for Gannett’s Currier-News; and director of publicity for the American Program Bureau, one of the largest speakers’ bureaus in the nation.
